| WHAT'S IN SEASON | ||||||||||||||||||
| Our farm market is open daily with our own fresh fruits and vegatables and some that we do not grow. We select only the best growers to supply what we do not grow so you get outstanding quality every time you visit us. All of our produce is grown in Gloucester County. | ||||||||||||||||||
| STRAWBERRIES The berries are in bloom right now and are really happy about the rain we just received. The bed over-wintered pretty well and we expect a good season which will start about May 24th 2006 SWEET CORN As of April 21, 2006 the sweet corn is coming up nicely. The plastic that covers it is doing it's job and keeping the 6 inch high plants nice and warm during the cool nights. Expect a normal start date of June 24th or so PEACHES/NECTARINES The trees came through the bloom period very well and have a full crop on all varieties. The tiny fruit are just becoming visible and we are preparing for thinning which will allow the remaining fruit to size up. Expect a slightly earlier than normal start date of June 25th |
